| Department of Fine Art |
|
| The program of the Department of Fine Art includes classes on painting, sculpture, crafts, and media as well
as workshops on woodcraft, etching, bronze casting, photography, metal, glass and pottery. Varied course offerings
enable students to create a program of study that is suited to their different talents and interests. All freshman
and sophomore students enroll in common foundation and introductory courses to examine different areas of studio
art prior to selecting a major in their junior years. The junior and senior years will focus on developing
philosophical concepts of arts as well as specific technical skills through studio workshops. |
