Department Of Traditional Folk Theatrics
The Department of Traditional Folk Theatrics provides students with a performance-oriented education on Korean traditional performing arts. The goal of the department is to restore, create and hand down the essence and sentiments of Korean tradition performing arts as well as training students in various art forms. As the department emphasizes a well-balanced education of arts that deals with all the aspects of traditional arts from musical instruments to dancing, all students of the same academic year practice and discuss together irrespective of their individual majors. Throughout this group training, students of the Department of Folk Theatrics will be able to master various traditional rhythms.
