The Department of Musicology also emphasizes studies on human sciences including philosophy, literature and history. The proficiency in foreign languages is also highly regarded. This is to cultivate students as a musician with scholarly learning and artistic expertise. Students will also do some scholarly researches and writings in order o find out a useful methodology to teach music.
