| Department of Musicology |

| To foster qualified musical theorists and critics, the Department of Musicology provides various researches
and classes on musicology, music theories, and music history. The Department of Musicology also emphasizes
studies on human sciences including philosophy, literature and history. The proficiency in foreign languages
is also highly regarded. This is to cultivate students as a musician with scholarly learning and artistic
expertise. Students will also do some scholarly researches and writings in order o find out a useful
methodology to teach music. |
