Department of Composition
Through constant trainings in the Western and Korean musical grammars, students in the Department of Composition can compose creative music pieces. Students are trained in practical music, video music, dance music, computer music and other assorted fields of music. The Department of Composition also focuses on developing students' expertise in score reading and writing. Moreover, students should master at least one musical instrument besides one traditional Korean musical instrument. Each semester, students will have a concert with music they compose, and publications of their music are highly encouraged.
