Department of Directing
A director is an organizer of a performance. Therefore, a director should have both theoretical and practical knowledge on arts, playwriting, acting, and stage-design. The first educational goal of the Department of Directing is to instill in a student a comprehensive understanding of drama in connection with other genres. The second educational goal is to provide hands-on experiences in directing scenes or plays. Students can make an experiment with traditional Korean performing arts. Also, in the Department of Directing, students will have many opportunities to work with distinguished professional directors.
